How To Get Free Stuff From Manufacturers

We all like free stuff, either receiving them from our mail or getting them from our local supermarket or department store. However, getting free stuff from manufacturers takes a little patience, a lot of creativity and sometimes you have to know the right tricks.

Here are some steps that could help you get samples, coupons and other great free stuff from manufacturers.

1.       Register Online
Visit a website that’s giving away stuff for free. These can be found all over the Internet. The best way to find theses websites that cater your favorite product is to search online. Using your favorite search engine (Google, Yahoo or Bing), type the words "free samples online" or "free stuff". Browse through the list. Most websites will ask for your email address, which is where a list will be sent daily, weekly or monthly. It may be a good idea to register an email address that you will use only for this purpose. When you give these sites permission to use your email you can get a lot of emails from many of their sponsors. Once you start receiving emails you can now mark your favorite brands or items that interest you. This will also help the sponsor to know what products you care about.

2.        Write to the manufacturers personally
From your favorite website, you can find contact information of the manufacturer’s such as the e-mail address and mailing address. Once you have this contact information, you can begin to write an informative letter explaining why you would like some of their products for free. If it happens that you are a member of a nonprofit organization and their products can help your organization to succeed, this is a good reason to help you. If you are researching for products due to economic necessity, they may also be inclined to help. State your case and provide your reasons why you prefer their brands.

3.       Search for coupons.
The manufacturer free coupons or buy one get one free coupons can be found in many local newspapers and different websites. Look for these weekly. Cut them out (if from the newspaper) or print the (if from a website) and take them with you to the department or grocery store. Read the rules printed on them and take note of the expiration date.
